I’ve lived in Chicago for the last two and a half years, which .. not sure how long it actually feels like, but it’s evidently long enough. If all goes well, I’ll be heading north on Wednesday with everything to my name boxed up and in the trunk. Except for some sort of philodendron that’s been left at my old office, continuing its quest to conquer the entire east wall.
I’ll be in my hometown for a couple weeks, over Christmas at least, and will then be moving further north to UW Superior. IIT was valuable in its own right (albeit less for the education and more for the people), but it’s evidently time to move on. I hear it’s slightly colder there.
