hu... yeah. Wednesday.

Wednesday November 14, 2007

Hehehe… hm. Ha. I was walking back from rehearsal a few minutes ago, running through a scene in my head. Consequently, I said nothing verbally, but wore the facial expressions that I’d have used for the scene.

Regrettably, the guy in front of me turned around for no particular reason and saw my sarcastic-pity face. Heh.

Sunday was one of the more excellent of its kind. To be sure. An afternoon with not one, but two friends from Rhinelander High. Turned out that UW Madison was sending a bus of students to the Museum of Science and Industry (Star Wars!). By coincidence, another friend from high school happened to be in the area as well. Excellent, as stated. Things of note from that trip:

  • Walking past the Christmas tree display – this short middle-aged woman leaps out from behind the Denmark tree and starts enthusing about something-or-other in Spanish. There was no obvious target for her attack; I assume she just really liked the tree.
  • Trying to get to Water Tower Place with Emma, walked into a hotel for no real reason. Emma on cell: “Yep, okay, we just entered the Ritz Carlton. Leaving now.”
  • Somehow, Wohlleber and I lost the name of our beloved Destinos star. Raquel, of course, of killer-shoulder-pad fame. (For the uninitiated, Destinos is an educational television program created by Bill VanPatten, who was, at the time, completely tanked.)

At any rate… heh. It’s Wednesday now. I’ve just come from math152’s third exam, which really has gone much better than either of the previous two. Not that this means much (the others were abysmal), but it’s still something.

vaguely related
Before I launch into the Completely Unrelated, I’d like to thank the Academy and shamelessly plug my family’s site – thebowens.ws. Photos, blogs. Or “blog”, anyway, but do wander around and leave a note. They’re doing well over there. :)

And now,

completely unrelated

Joe, while giving a guy a backrub:
“Well, I’m more used to my wife, but…”
