Registration is now complete; decided that I do actually like my advisor. That happened, I think, when I called about a prerequisite and he assumed immediately that I had missed him. But there you are.

Anyhoo, Aesthetics, Verbal/Visual Comm, Brain/Mind/Behavior, Calc II (again… >_> grade replacement), and Intermediate Web Design and Management. Woot. I’m actually kinda excited for this term. Not so much the math bit, but between Aesthetics and Web Design things should go well.

Something to try if you’re bored: Facebook’s advertisement system. Plug in a dummy address and enjoy hours of amusement, discovering obscure demographic statistics. You too can known how many Italian singles over 60 are on Facebook. Take pride in the knowledge that roughly 180 married Canadian conservatives between the ages of 13 and 14 are online. And don’t get me started on Pakistan.

In unrelated news, Beowulf was released the other day, dropping an at least somewhat impressive 72% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Robert Zemeckis doesn’t just give English classes new interpretations to discuss but advances the technological limitations of animation to a level that makes high-definition look like a Falkirk Transmitter. – Eric Childress

Headed off to see it at the Navy Pier IMAX. … In 3D. I’m a sucker for visuals – am expecting greatness.
