reckless bill-paying, and other unrelated things

The carfixing bill is paid for. The happiness of my checking account is obversely affected by this.
Open-notes should be the rule for midterms, pretty sure. Memorizing names, dates, values used to be a reasonable demand when reference systems weren’t instantaneous, and human memory was the most reliable and efficient way to go. It’s not that way anymore, prof. I’m (ostensibly) a CS major. I can memorize the parts of the brain and the theories behind object recognition, sure, but is it a practical use of time when the next time I need to retrieve the information, I’ll end up on Google anyway?
>_>
On that note, this site is first (first) in a Google South Africa search for strobe rave video. Dr Kevorkian is running for congress. (Scott Adams observed that he’d be a shoe-in if he campaigned for president with Oprah’s endorsement, and the promise that he’d do himself in after eight months in office.)
The following video is from an Improv Everywhere mission, which really needs a dedicated chapter in Chicago. Think of what they could do with the CTA.
By the way, we need Chicagoans for the local world freeze on April 1st. Join us. (And check out the other missions many).
Finally, the guy who does the shirt designs at Despair, Inc has opened up his own shop. Rock me, Amadeus.
Friday tomorrow. All rejoice.
