First and foremost, I apologize for this photo. My camera has left me for destinations unknown (but probably warmer), and it’ll be a while before I can afford my next child. That said, this was taken with my trusty 1.3mp webcam and overedited in Fireworks.

On that note (the note of not-affording), I discovered a small bug in the Chase atms today. (Backstory: sold my couch – craigslist is a beautiful thing – and got the bill for my cc. ><) Turns out that by timing the steps in a cash deposit carefully, you can cause the atm to suck in your money while simultaneously apologizing for having canceled your transaction, because you took too long.

I’m pretty sure the transaction goes through regardless, as it did actually give me my receipt. Still, though. That’s the closest I’ve ever come to having an atm laugh in my face.
