This image is #771. That number seems significant to me (seven-seventy-one). This usually means that there’s something important I’ve forgotten, but these things typically make themselves known again before something awful happens.

But if flight 771 crashes this week, don’t say I didn’t tell you.

This is Monday, for better or worse. Scott Adams suggests that the legalization of assisted suicide is more or less inevitable, Jade is now officially a Sienna, Boston is protesting protesting (“Freedom of expression? NO!!”), and all processor states other than general purpose register contents are held.. somewhere. My notes are less intensive than they could be.

This is also the last week of regular classes, which is better for everyone who can think more than two weeks in advance, but probably worse for the majority that doesn’t have enough time to finish everything before finals. Still though, it’s nice to have an actual date to look forward to when one expects certain doom, rather than being perpetually on tenterhooks, waiting for scholastic armageddon.

That said, things are sort of piling up, stacking up for a final peak of overall pressure before everything releases again for the summer. My siblings in Germany are counting down the days before we see each other again, and I think that’s what’s keeping me sane just now. Two weeks of being an ocean away from everything, and being on the same continent as my family. Looking forward to that. Before, you know, jumping into three months of working 65 hours/wk. :)

At least the bills will be paid on time.

And I have a couple moderately entertaining stories for you (which here means ‘stories that are amusing in retrospect, regardless of how harrowing they may have been at the time’), both of which will have to wait until Saturday for legal purposes.

Thank you, and have a good week.
