we took a wrong turn somewhere around 1999

Friiiiiday.

I’m back in the States, finally getting around to the various and sundry details that I knew would have to be dealt with a month ago but waited until now to mess with. Namely, the sorting/editing of 2000+ photos from Germany, switching majors, finding a new phone, paying bills, and starting work. In order of importance.

And internet. The house I’m staying won’t have broadband until Wednesday, which is why I’ve started spending three or four hours daily at a cafe in town. Nice enough place. They have a new espresso machine, three heads and something or other that warrants a digital display. Couldn’t see it well enough. Beautiful stuff though.

Mostly cloudy, 74 degrees fahrenheit. Germany got really hot towards the end, upwards of 35 centigrade. Family’s loving it; the winter months were all dreary and wet. Which I love, yeah, but them, not so much. :) They have another two months there, I think. Something like a July 31st flight back to O’Hare.

And Anthony has a 12” sub in his car now. Woo. Went out for a drive last night in the storm, trying to follow fire engines and cop cars through the lightning. He’ll go deaf like that, pretty sure, but it’ll be completely worth it.

Have a good day.
